We invite you to celebrate with us in the gorgeous green spaces of Hawbush Community Gardens. The celebrations will deepen our connection to the local landscape and wildlife, through activities that interweave the beauty and power of the seasons with the value of being in community, encouraging us to reflect and participate in nature’s shifts throughout the year. Activities suitable for all ages and abilities will be offered ; nature trails, planting and growing, sound baths, nature crafts, and music. We will explore traditional heritage crafts such as blacksmithing, greenwood work, weaving, fire-bricks and mini chain-making with wire, that connect us to our collective local history. We will celebrate the beauty and wisdom of nature, cultivate wellbeing, and build a stronger, more cohesive community

The Everwild Festivals have been a huge success.  In 2025 we had around 1000 people visit us at the series of festivals and have another booked for June 2026.   Click the button to subscribe to our Everwild Newsletter for more information and to make sure you don't miss the Autumn and Winter festivals.

Cant wait to see you there

Reclaim our Roots is a community herbalism project, encouraging participants to engage with the seasonal cycles through the exploration of local plant companions.

In 2024 a group of people came together to explore the herbs growing wild around the site at Hawbush Gardens, to connect with each plant, learning about their virtues and weaving connections between art, community and nature.

At each session we met a chosen plant ally, guiding us into deeper connection through activities like tea tasting and crafting folk medicine while sharing our personal plant stories and collaborative creativity.

Join us on the Wellbeing Garden in 2025 to explore how we can apply Permaculture principles at a local level.

This year we are taking a deeper dive into the 3rd permaculture ethic 'Fair Share/ future care'.  We are developing our wellbeing garden into a Mother Garden Hub for the Black Country.  A space where we can share plants, seeds, skills and support, lasting beyond 'Tending' and the Growing Land Connections  project which completes in December 2026

We will continue to explore wildlife friendly gardening, regenerative techniques, composting, biodynamic sowing, propagating and general growing skills, learning alongside each other and seeking out inspiration from other growing communities.  One of our key missions this year is to support Hawbush Community Gardens to become a cleaner and greener site.

Onsite sessions on the Wellbeing Garden at Hawbush Community Gardens, we are there most Fridays 10.00 -12.00. Join our newsletter for updates on visits and events  or find us on our Black Country Mother Garden Facebook Group

Village Evenings were introduced in 2025 and have become the 3rd part of our Growing Land Connections  for 2026.

We are allowing the elements to inspire us , creating art and music which draws attention to air, fire, earth and water and the considerations for our planet and the climate that are linked to each.

This session is open for all, you are welcome to join us for herbal teas, craftivism and music making every Thursday Evening 6pm - 8pm under the roundhouse.
