We are Ekho Collective CIC

Nurturing communities through creativity,

sustainability, and nature connection

Founded by Erika Keshelya, Clare Evans and Deb McDonald in 2022.
We are based in the beautiful setting of Hawbush Gardens, Brierley Hill.

Ekho Collective CIC is a social enterprise committed to fostering positive change through inclusive, community-driven initiatives with a strong emphasis on the benefits of nature connection for health and wellbeing.
Our work integrates the healing power of nature into our local community, recognising that a relationship with the environment is essential for overall wellness, but not equally realised by all due to complex inequalities. Our work seeks to remove barriers, increase inclusion and realise the benefits of engaging with nature reciprocally for the land and all people.
We offer multiple pathways to engage with the natural world: gardening, heritage crafts, folk music, plot-to-plate outdoor cooking, permaculture, foraging and herbalism, mindful earth connection, conservation, land stewardship and community celebrations. But what we do is hold space for connection – between people, between humans and the more-than-human world, with the creatures, water, plants, soil, and seasons that sustain us

By fostering nature-centric initiatives, we aim to improve mental and physical health, reduce stress, and enhance community cohesion, by cultivating a deeper connection to nature, as we believe that a healthier planet leads to healthier individuals and communities.

Nature heals - connection to the natural world supports mental
and physical wellbeing.

Nature for all - removing barriers so everyone can access the benefits of nature.

Community-led - rooted in and shaped by the people we serve.

Future-minded - respecting the natural world and leaving it better for those who come after us.
