What’s Happening at Ekho Collective
Sustainable Fashion Project for Great Big Green Week
The Sustainable Fashion show was the headlining attraction at the Great Big Green Week Everwild Festival
Our project team supported each other to create their own garments as well as explore visbile mending techniques such as sashiko, kantha and patching to upcycle and individualise their wardrobes

We were excited to have Link Academy Design students join us to model and display their Dame Vivienne Westwood inspired, upcycled outfits.

Our Summer Everwild Festival followed the Great Big Green Week theme 'Together for Good'
How can we, as a community, make a big difference.
over 250 people joined us to enjoy our activities and workshops, food and music.

For those who are Food Bank Elegible

We are also looking for volunteers with growing experience to join us on Thursdays to help with growing vegetables on our Community plot to support this project​

Spring Green Providers Network
Working alongside WMCA we gathered CICs, charities and community groups from across Birmingham and the Black Country
We made some great connections and discussed collaborations. Our wonderful Ekho Team spoke about our journey so far and were supported by the Hawbush trustees. An incredible morning in the spring sunshine, fuelled by a fantastic Wagamama feast
